moving etiquette

well its official - ive finally moved to c-town. I have my own grown up girl apartment and hoping I get my first grown up girl job. and now I need advice from all you wonderful ladies.

Ive made up moving announcements, they read as follows

I've finally moved
and boy it was rough!
I never knew
I had so much stuff

its very simple and cute and I really like it. Im sending them to all my friends and family :)

but here's the issue. Ive also just graduated from college so all these same people will be getting graduation announcements. and hopefully Ill be getting gifts from them, for graduation.

but I also want to have a house warming party. I would like to register for gifts for that - is that right? idk Ive never done this before.

I dont want anyone thinking im greedy, which Im not. I just want to celebrate all the new things happening in my life. I have already sent out moving announcements and I need to send grad announcements asap

can / should I wait a few moths till I throw myself a house warming party? like have one over Christmas break when people would be a little free-er? any and all advice is much appreciated!
