Halloween Swap

OK ladies, I'm up to 40 official readers and that makes me so very excited! I am so flattered and excited that all of you wonderful people care whats going on in my life.

I have a very exciting update, after the job drama (not hearing from UWG for 3 weeks) I got a call today asking for a 2nd interview on Thursday at 1pm. A little birdie told me I am the only they asked for a 2nd interview, so we are hoping and praying that this means they really want me!

so after such amazing news today I decided to see who might be interested in doing a swap. I have done 1 (and it didn't go so well) but I am also signed up to do Flip Flops and Peals Christmas Swap. I am very excited about it, but I have to admit, Halloween is more of my favorite holiday.

30 Days of me - Day 6

>day 6- favorite super hero and why

 Im not sure if ZORO qualifies as a super hero but I love him. Hes swav and debonair and sexy. He's super mysterious in his black and I just think hes hot.

Ten on Tuesday

1. Pretend it’s Monday morning–take us through a day in the life of you. Well yesterday was monday so I can give you the low down on my day to day life
11am - wake up, get a drink, take my hair skin & nails vitamin, open my laptop and start reading all the amazing blogs (114) that I follow.
12 - think about eating lunch, decide to bake some beer bread, look up the recipe, make the bread and put it in the oven, go back to the computer and finish reading blogs
1 - breads done, have a big slice and watch some Bravo TV re runs
2 - bravo tv re runs
3 - I should shower today, shouldnt I, so I hop in the shower and spend an hour in there
4 - get a super rude email from JAB's sister, and I blog about it
5 - watch more TV
6 - my mother calls and we talk for a while
7 - get ready to go to trivia
8-10pm at trivia with JAB
11pm - come home, upset about the job drama. sent a super long email to my friends about it. watched RHONJ reunion! OMG it was amazing!
12 - RHONJ
1am - putz around the house, flirt around on the internet
2am - make a midnight snack 2 hours late
3am - lay in bed, not sleeping
4 am- finally fall asleep

3. What motto do you live by? I have 2
You cant be old and wise id your not young and crazy
may your life be filled with relaxing sunsets, cool drinks, and sand between your toes

4. If you knew could you try anything and not fail, what dream would you attempt? Get married? lol. I think I would go back to college and rush a social sorority.

5. What was your first job? babysitting

6. What is your current job? unemployed

7. What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name (and you cannot pick the one you already have)? when I was little I always wanted to be called Samantha

8. What musical instruments can you play? none

9. Is it easier to forgive or forget? forgive, but never forget

10. What is one food you’d never want to taste again? none - lol. I love all food

Blogger Award!

I am flattered and excited to have received my very first blog award! I received it from Hannah at The Pink and Green Prep (pop on over and check out her wonderful blog).

I have had this blog for over a year, but I took like 11 months off, so now that Im trying to blog full time, I have envied all the ladies with their wonderful awards. and now I have my own!

 

So I am suppose to write 7 things about myself then pass it on to 7 more wonderful bloggers. I feel like all I have been doing here lately is talking about myself not that I mind lol.

I am not 100% sure what else I can tell y'all about myself but I'm going to try :D

1. I have HUGE feet. I tried on a pair of size 10 boots the other day and my foot didnt fit, which really stunk because I really like them. I have always warn size 9 shoes, but these days it feels like my feet are growing. I wear flip flops every day, sun, rain, snow. It may be crazy but its true, and I wear men's rainbows because I have such big feet!

2. I chew gum like people smoke. I chew all the time because I have a self diagnosed oral fixation so I just keep chewing. I only chew mint gum, but I always love trying new flavors and brands.

3. I am terrible with money! My plan for when I get a job is to take $200 out of each weeks of pay and cash it and put it in an envelope so it wont be in my checking account to spend, and then at the beginning of every month I will have it to pay my bills and not worry I wont have enough money. 

4. I love love love theater! I considered being a theater major in college but I wanted to be employed when I graduated, so I chose a different path. I did my first play, The Teddy Bear Picnic when I was in pre K. It was actually the 1st grade play but the little girl who had the main role got stage fright so my teacher said I would do it, and I did! I did theater in middle school and all through High School and loved every moment of it. I haven't missed a show at my high school since I graduated.

5. I am not a preppy person, but I am working hard to make myself more like the amazing women I follow her on blogger. I dont dress preppy, partially because a lot of my preppier clothes dont fit, and because I dont always feel like its worth the effort to get so dressed. I am trying to become more preppy and southern belle ish. p.s. Lilly Pulitzer - of your reading this, please make plus sized clothes!

7. I adore Frank Sanatra! My roommate my freshmen year, JO (then JS) and I would listen to it for hours. She brought a big boom box to school, we would pop in the CD and swoon and dance and just be silly college freshmen to old blue eyes.

Baby Drama

"hey JAB and I dont speak so I dont know when I would be able to get the present. Its real nice of you to get him something, but honestly if you had the receipt you could just take it back because most likely I will never see you and I dont want you to have wasted your money" -JAB's sister LB

The back story. LB is younger then I am, 22 and she has a 1 year old son. I have wanted to meet him because I love babies and I know how much JAB loves baby Landon. I went out and got him the cutest onesies and a little baby baseball set. I was invited to Landon's birthday but I couldn't attend because I had a wedding out of state.

I'm faster than you... and I crawl!

I got him the gifts as a way of introducing myself to JAB's family, as I have never met them. When I first moved to town I send LB a nice note via facebook saying how I was new in town and how Id love to meet her and have coffee. I was hopeful because I want to be close with JAB's family and the fact that LB and I are close in age, I thought we would at least be friends.

The issue is LB is married to a military man who lives in CT. They have been together a little over 2 years. When her husband was sent out on a one year mission on a sub, LB moved home and started dating this local guy. Now she acts like the new guy is her husband when she is not even separated. The husband was only out a week before he returned home, so he is fully aware of what his wife is doing.

So LB's new boy toy was nice enough to sell JAB a nice pool table for his new house. JAB had the check written out to him but LB insisted on getting it that day. Of course, she ended up washing the check, so it was destroyed. She promptly called JAB and demanded he drop everything and bring her a new check (an hour drive). Of course, he didn't have the time to do it so he said he couldn't. She flipped out and threatened to contact me and his ex gf and tell us that he was cheating on us (even though hes been broken up with the ex for a year) and threatened to tell his parents a bunch of lies about me, even though she has never met me.

JAB told me all of this and I was flabbergasted. And now this? I am amazed this women calls herself a southern belle, right on her facebook! No belle, no women with any decency would ever send that sort of email! Simply take the gift graciously for your son, and leave your family drama out if it! I am just so insulted and hurt, I dont even know how to respond!

I am in this video, somewhere. Luke went to Georgia Southern (like me) and he played this concert the night before my 23rd birthday. I was drenched but it was the best concert ever!

2. If you could take an all-expenses paid vacation, where would you go and why?
I would go to Hawaii. I have wanted to go to Hawaii for 20+ years. I had Hawaiian skirts when I was little I wore till it had holes. I have always been obsessed with the islands and its been my dream vacation. I would go with JAB and all my girlfriends for like a solid month!

3. What's the last book you read?

 It sounds raunchy, but its just a really fun, cute, sexy beach read. and who doesnt love those?

4. What's one of your best childhood memories?
Living in belgium and england. I cant pick a single moment or memory. I loved going to stratford upon avon, where Shakespeare was born and buried.  

5. Soda, tea, water, or juice?
soda... I an in LOVE with pepsi throwback but I need to be drinking diet soda... Im working on it :)

6. What's your favorite flower?
my mother and I adore birds of paradise, but they are so hard to find :(

7. If you could live abroad for an entire year, where would you live?
ugh... this is a hard one... I think Greece. Ive never been there and Ive always wanted to go.

8. What's your favorite time of the year?
fall. Its got football, my birthday, getting ready for christmas and school starts :)

Getting to Know Me Sunday

1. If you accidentally knick a car in a parking lot..Do you leave a note or do you get the heck out of there?
I guess it depends on the nick. If its like a dent, or obvious damage, I leave a note, but if its a door ding, I dont. 

2. Love your body or plastic surgery?
I want and need lipo, a boob job and Im sure something else. I am seriously considering getting Lap band surgery, just need a job with insurgence first

3. What about your favorite blog(s) continues to drive you back?
I dont really understand this question... I love all the blogs I read and I love getting to know them women

4. What percent of your blog is BS just to make your life seem more interesting than it really is?
none of it. If I wanted to write a BS blog, id write a book lol

5. If you had to give up one type of meat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
errrr, something weird, like opossum or reindeer, so I wouldnt have to pass on it very often . 

6. How often to you eat out?
A few times a week. JAB doesnt like to cook and he's very picky about what he eats so its hard for me to make dinner for him. therefor our solution is to eat out

7. Skinny jeans or boot cut jeans?
flare baby!

8. If you caught your spouse cheating would you forgive, divorce, or plan your kill?
well Im not married, so I really dont know. Hope it doesnt happen though
