Y'all I am so sorry I have been to absent here lately. October was one crazy month!

Last weekend my best friend became a MRS and so I've been up to my ears in wedding stuff. It happens. After the wedding, after quite a few drinks my parents & Ryan (who all attending the wedding) decided the words wedding & marriage were off limits for me for the next 2 months. Good thing they don't read my blog!

So thats where I've been the last month or so. Im currently looking for new jobs in atlanta. I have been applying to a few each night hoping for something. Im looking to go into the higher education field so if you have any tips or leads, let me know.

I am obsessed with the Post Secret app on my iPhone. LOVE it!

Ryan & I are doing well. He thinks Im crazy but now that wedding season is over life should calm down a bit.

I ordered an iPhone 4s! Thank G because my 3G is on its last legs. I am looking for a case though - I thought I saw one on a blog once. Its really pretty and there is a space for credit cards & ID in the back? if you know where to buy one please tell me!

Bachelorette Take 2

Well if your any sort of avid reader of this corner of the internet you remember all the drama that came from the 1st bachelorette & wedding shower I tried to plan. Where I spent $400 on it and it was a total flop. Yes. Epic fail.

Well thanks to this lovely soon to be bride, I will be planning my 2nd bachelorette party. This one is going to be very different!

A. No co-hosting
B. Budget - $200
C. Smaller guest list of people we know
D. Guests will help pay for the party

These are my rules and Im sticking to them! I hope!

So since I have a lot of stuff left over I wont be buying a lot more. I am going to order these:

All the green is going to be purple, the brides favorite color. Its gonna be the theme of the entire bachelorette party, Wild Night Out

We're going to have it in Savannah on River street so we can go to our favorite bars:

How cute? They met on a dating site, and he messaged her because they had the exact same photo of themselves at the sundial - a really nice restaurant in atlanta.

Hen Party Favor Bags

So the hen party... otherwise known as the bachelorette party will have 15 ladies there. Or 15 have been invited. I am STILL trying to get all the addresses together.

I need to put together some favor bags and I dont have much $$ to spend. Tops maybe $3 a bag. Here are some ideas Ive got, tell me what you think -

These are bath bombs, at $.90 a piece they're small but nice

Also thinking of these - little bags of bath salt

These are $1 a piece and too funny

These are on deep sale at B&BW so would fit in the budget with something else.



We will also either be painting wine glasses - 

Everyone would paint their own

Or we will make t shirts

If you were going to a bachelorette party would you prefer to go out to a movie or have a slumber party like this :

Not sure if this will be showing the weekend of the wedding though

Does anyone have any other ideas of things to do? Going out to a bar is a no go with the MOH

Also need some ideas for cheap game prizes, I was thinking maybe condoms and some naughty things from target (lube, panties etc)

Bachelorette & Lingerie Shower

Ok y'all this is what I have thus far:

Here's the big issue I'm having right now - I need to come up with some sort of entertainment for the girls. There will be 15 ladies invited & about 6 staying the night. I had the idea to decorate wine glasses or t shirts to wear the wedding day. And we will have cheesy wedding movies and alcohol but the MOH doesn't want to go out so the main part of the evening is unplanned at the moment

I had the idea of everyone going to see Bridesmaids, the movie, but I'm worried that's too many movies. I was also thinking of having one of those Pure Romance consultants come and do a "party"

Other then going out to the bar, does any one else have any other fun party ideas?
