Rubber Ducky Your're So Fun

So for my second blog post I had an idea of writing about what I love to shower with :)

Lets start with this stuff. Mine is actually pink, a raspberry smell, but I couldn't find that, and they don't make it any more :( This stuff is amazing. I buy it at Bath and Body Works. Its minty and fresh and just amazing. I used it all over, even personal areas, because it always leaves everything feeling clean. I also adore Bath & Body Works signature collection body washes. I have them is every possible smell :) They hydrate and smell amazing but they don't leave so much sent that it ruins your perfume after you wash it off. Another fab B&BWs find. Their loofahs are simply amazing! They last a long time and they come in cute colors. This one I got around fall and its a pumpkin. On sale for $2 http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=4294436&cp=2484525

This Clean & Clear product is sometimes hard to find, but so worth the search. Its a mask and a face scrub all in one. You get in the shower, and put it on your face like a mask. The steam from the shower opens your pours and cleans them out. Then right before you get out, you scrub your face with it and rinse it off. Your face feels amazing. I buy mine at Big Lots for $3.50.

Maybe I'm weird, but I like to brush my teeth in the shower & this is my favorite toothpaste! It foams in your mouth and makes your breath smell minty.This runs about $4 at walmart.

You know how your hair looks and feels after you leave the salon, and try and you might nothing you do at home makes it feel that way. Well this stuff works! It smells amazing, it tingles on your scalp, and its just simply amazing! Buy the big bottles, much better value! This is a little pricey, about $36 for the both bottles (it is available at ULTA & the walmart hair center near the front)

And for those of us who live in the south, we like to wear our flip flops (today it got to 110 outside) so nice feet are a must. This isn't very expensive  but it works well. I also put inexpensive lotion on my feet and wear cotton socks to bed every night to keep my feet nice and soft. Very inexpensive, right at $5 at your local walmart.

So all in all I spend about $60 in bath products to stay clean & fresh :) Not bad

Been a while

A few days ago one of my wonderful twitter followers asked me if I blogged. I had to say no, because, though I have this blog, I rarely use it. But I think I should make a habit of doing it, at least a few times a week.

if you read back through the old posts, there is stuff about all sorts of things. I dont think im going to give this a theme per say, but Ill just have it be about me.

Im 23 and I have almost graduated from college. I am taking 11 hours of summer school classes in 4.5 weeks - so the term stressed doesnt even begin to cover what Im feeling. I have 4 days left of school and then Im done.

In July, when my lease runs out, Im planning to move to the city where my boyfriend lives. Weve been dating long distance since December and I really just cant take it anymore. I am nervous to move there because Ive never dated someone who lived close by - not sure why. So this will be the first time. Im excited but also very nervous. I dont know anyone in the town except for him & his roommates. Im currently trying to find a roommate to live with, but living 4 hours away makes it really hard.

Im considering just getting a single loft apartment and living alone for a few months, maybe getting a dog. I know I would miss having a roommate, but unless I find one soon, I wont have any choice.

I am planning to go back to school at UWG, to take some post baccalaureate classes. Im doing this because a) ive been in school for the past 21 years of my life, so its all I know b) this way Ill be able to use the college gym, and go to events and things and c) im hoping Ill be able to get very involved.

I held myself back in my undergrad career with getting involved because I was always dating someone long distance and I didnt want to be so busy that I didnt have time for them. this of course, was a major mistake, but Im planning on fixing it :)

Im also hoping to start a chapter of my service sorority when I get to UWG. Im not sure how Im going to go about doing that, but I think it would be a good way to meet a lot of friends and Id like to help my sorority expand.

so now that Ive gotten back onto twitter, I figure I should start on my blog again. Hopsefuly Ill stick with it this time :)

You can call me YankeeBelle, or simply B. Im a graduate of Georgia Southern University as of May 8, 2010. Im still here this summer taking a few summer classes, but thats ok.

I'm dating a wonderful boy we will call JAB (his initials). We have been dating since December 2009, and he asked me to be his girls friend during a trip we took to New York City in February.
